Louise Brooks was one of the most iconic silent film actresses of the 1920s. Tynan knew of Brooks from her films, and had become infatuated with her work in Pabst’s film from 1929, ‘Pandora’s Box.’ Starting in the late 1970s, he grew a romance with Brooks.
